A day in the life of an Associate

The Senior Logistics Coordinator Inbound provides a flawless flow of raw & packaging materials for the site. This via best-in-class replenishment execution meeting the scheduled production needed, using the most optimum amount of inventory possible to prevent obsolescence and conserve cash. You have a pivotal role in connecting suppliers and factories to match our needs. In addition, you drive projects to improve processes to optimize service and costs continuously. 


What would be your key responsibilities?

Maximizing Service 

  • Midterm purchasing planning for packaging 
  • Conducts daily analysis of all the changes in materials production demand.
  • Controls every stage of a purchase order and call offs execution until the material are delivered to site (WH)
  • Assure the efficient connection with the factory through Mars signature processes
  • Serves as a backup for the other logistic coordinator on the site


Reducing Cost

  • Invoice management
  • Minimizing obsolete and demurrage cost
  • Admin root cause and drive preventive actions.


Activity Management

  • Participates in the process of verifying new pack material’s artwork 
  • Makes sure all the relevant system data are up-to-date.
  • Recommend changes of packaging materials in BOMs
  • Support the new initiatives and the qualification process of new suppliers and supplier changes.


Supplier Management

  • Align delivery dates and means of delivery with all the suppliers.
  • Supplier performance management, tracking tracing.
  • Maintain regular contacts and build a good relationship with suppliers and internal customers


What are we looking for? 

Education & Professional Qualification
Higher education or equivalent with >3 years in logistics.


Logistics, Planning, ERP (preferably SAP), Analytics, MS Office, Power BI
