At Royal Canin “WE MAKE A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS BY BRINGING TANGIBLE HEALTH BENEFITS THROUGH NUTRITION TO EACH CAT AND DOG”. We do this in close cooperation with our Pet Owners and with our Professional Partners. We develop and launch different Digital Services to support us on this journey. TThe Digital Service Specialist will be the center of expertise on digital services. Eg. Services to recruit new pet owners and build pet owner loyalty & engagement at all touchpoints. Or Services for professionals, in close cooperation with the pillars. The digital services specialist implements Digital services to deliver solutions for Pet Owners and professionals at all touchpoints. The Specialist furthermore drives the local adoption and success of digital Services within the cluster by creating awareness and training with support of the Digital Factory. 

 

What are we looking for?  

  • 3 to 6 years background in Digital Marketing, CRM or related digital functions.
  • Proven Functional (not technical) expertise in the area of digital services or CRM (UX (User Experience), SEO (Search Engine Optimalisation), CRM, content marketing and email marketing.
  • Solid project management skills, being able to implement a project from A to Z.
  • Biased toward action. Takes initiative, entrepreneurial, can hit the ground running and move projects forward right from the start.
  • High levels of interpersonal skills specifically in the area of influencing, resolving conflict, and creative problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and written

 

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • With the support of his/her Line Manager implement and deploy digital services at the service of professionals (eg. Royal Start, Vet Services) and Global Digital Pet Owner services in the Benelux Cluster. 
  • In close cooperation with the pillars and with support from his/her Line Manager, proactively drive the internal adoption of the Digital Business Services in the Pillars and help develop the sell in story where needed. 
  • With support of his/her line manager had implement globally developed Pet Owner Digital services in the cluster. 
  • Deliver solutions for Pet Owners and ensure focus on building pet owner loyalty & engagement. (eg. recommendation tools, Royal Canin Club, etc)
  • Connect with Global teams and provide feedback on local specifics to ensure that the globally developed digital services fit within the local Benelux Digital Ecosystem, so as to create one strong and communicating ecosystem. Works closely with the CRM manager and Hub and content manager to achieve this goal.
  • Continuously suggests improvements to Pet Owner services to the global digital factory. Collects improvements and inputs in close cooperation with Digital team and Brand and Pet Owner team.
  • Continuously improve and proactively suggest improvements to Business Services to the global digital factory, in close cooperation with Pet Professional and Specialty retailing Pillars.
