The Role


Here at Royal Canin, we’re on the lookout for a passionate, pet obsessed Veterinary Sales Executive to join our team. This role will see you working remotely and involves the management of existing and potential veterinary accounts across approx. 130 clinics, in the Newcastle, NSW region to ensure Royal Canin continue to deliver a premium service. As such, your ability to work remotely, coupled with your strong planning skills will be critical to your success.


There is a strong emphasis on customer service, customer education and the ability to develop relationships, which will lead to the sale of Royal Canin products and services.


N.B. This role has a requirement for regional overnight stays 1-2 nights every 6 weeks.


What are we looking for?

  • Previous sales experience, ideally in territory sales;
  • The ability to build relationships with a varied customer base;
  • A hunger and curiosity to learn and become a product expert;
  • The desire to educate others to make informed decisions about our products;
  • The drive and tenacity to achieve targets.


What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Proposing mutually beneficial business solutions by aligning business strategies and objectives;
  • Identifying and providing product and business solutions that meet your customers’ needs;
  • Sharing knowledge of our products to drive recommendations in clinic;
  • Providing collateral such as marketing material, articles, business cases, and references and customised presentations in line with your customers’ needs;
  • Presenting persuasive product presentations that create value and achieve mutually beneficial results for all stakeholders;
  • Maximising ranging and distribution in clinic to reach growth targets.
