National Account Manager - Woolworths

The Role


Here at Mars Food, we are in an exciting time with our Woolworths business as we bring to market some compelling Innovation in some of our biggest categories and in search of a National Account Manager (NAM) to join the Woolworths Account team as we embark on this journey.


As the NAM you will have accountability for negotiating range, distribution, promotional activity and display of Mars Food products to ensure operating plan objectives are achieved, our ultimate goal being to deliver the food purpose, Better Food Today, Better World Tomorrow, and help us change the way we put food on the table.


This is a role which will allow you to continue your passion for sales and account management and could suit an experienced NAM looking to take the next step in managing one of our biggest customer accounts, or a NAM looking to move to a larger FMCG organisation like Mars.


What are we looking for?

  • Significant sales and account management experience (industry experience preferred);
  • Previous experience working with Coles, Woolworths, Corporate Convenience or Independents;
  • Proven ability to collaborate broadly and deliver win / win outcomes internally & externally;
  • Strong influencing skills and level of curiosity and comfort in challenging the status quo;
  • Commercial and financial acumen.


What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Achieve ranging and distribution of Mars Food products within Woolworths;
  • Develop promotional strategy and plan to maximise delivery of sales result within budget;
  • Develop formal category plans as well as strong trade relations to accelerate category growth;
  • Develop collaborative relationships and champion Customer Engagement with Woolworths;
  • Full P&L responsibility.
