BACKGROUND
The Analytics Factory team, part of the Analytics Open Hub organization, is looking for a new Analyst to handle the growing demand in the analytics area. This function is global, cross-brands and geography, and is part of an international team and reports to the Analytics & BI Senior Manager. This position contributes to the acceleration of Analytics @ Mars, or how to change the way we do business, at 100x speed.

 

THE JOB
The purpose of the job is to facilitate and accelerate the adoption of analytics platforms/tools and methodologies.  The associate will support both business stakeholders to articulate clearly their needs and identify their problems, and the IT project managers so they can deliver their Most Valuable Products at speed. The associate will gain a tremendous business acumen and will have to explore plenty of different and challenging problems, cross areas, cross brands and cross countries.
This job requires excellent communication skills and technology acumen, being at the crossroads of business users and development teams.

 

KEY OUTPUTS 
In this role, you will
• Co-ordinate and manage all the analytics initiatives in his/her scope of responsibility
• Facilitate the business problem discovery process with business stakeholders at various levels of responsibility.
• Participate or run design thinking or user centric workshops to identify value
• Participate to the automation and acceleration of all analytics development and processes
• Partner with our external Analytics vendors, elaborate delivery strategies and leverage industry and consulting skills
• Participate to  the scalability of analytics solutions, by providing support to the Analytics Scability Leader based in Europe
 
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
• A Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (economics, statistics, business, computer science) or equivalent experience
• Passion for growing and strengthening a business using data driven approaches
• Good experience in a data/analytics role handling varied and complex data
• Hands-on experience with viz tools (Tableau, Power BI) is required. SQL query writing, as well as experience with cloud-based computing, is also desirable
• Comfortable with working with both structured and unstructured data
• Comfortable with ambiguity, with a passion for collaboration to achieve objectives
• Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal relationship skills
• Interested in multi-cultural, global environments and team. Curious and ready to learn more.
