Key Responsibilities/职位描述


  1. China Stakeholder Management
  • As the performance consultant, engage and consult with China senior stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and identify talent development needs.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to champion the Mars China transformation agenda in relevant ways
  • Global SCT Partnership
  • Build a strong working relationship with Global, Strategic Capability Team to seek opportunities for alignment and partnership. Proactively provide china insights to help Global SCT understand China context and difference, so to well built into consideration in the process of needs defining and solution developing  to ensure global segment/function Learning solutions fit for China.


  1. Needs Define
  • Using quantitative and qualitative diagnosis methods, surface potential skill gaps impacting business performance and talent pipeline readiness that is unique for China market
  • Articulate current and ideal performance based on input from business and senior stakeholders, learners, subject matter experts (SMEs), and external experts and thought leaders
  • Assess barriers to ideal performance and specify learning needs and appropriate measures/KPIs
  • Recommend learning priorities in the context of the transformation agenda, capability frameworks, and existing curriculum
  • Align and contract the learning strategy/agenda with senior stakeholder
  • Sit in COE SCT LT to understand the global segment/function strategic capability needs, assess the relevance to China with the deep understanding and insight of China strategic priorities, and help SCT understand the difference of China, to ensure China needs is taken into consideration of the learning define/development process


  1. Program and Learning Portfolio Management
  • Architect and manage the curricula
  • Act as product manager role, collaborate with other teams in China Learning team for creation of learning strategy, sourcing (or creation) of learning solutions and deployment of learning strategy
  • Evaluate program and portfolio performance using data from dashboard, stakeholder input, and other relevant performance measures


  1. Support of the Learning Function
  • Build a strong working relationship with the MGS Learning team that develops, deploys, and monitors learning solutions, addressing the defined learning needs
  • Champion the learning agenda and the Mars U vision
  • Collaborate with other Strategic Capability Performance Consultants to seek opportunities for alignment and partnership
  • As needed, consult with MGS Learning on implementation strategies to ensure integrity of the initiatives




1. Education & Professional Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Preferred), combination of education and experience preferred


2. Knowledge/Experience

  • Organizational development experience, especially diagnosis and root cause analysis
  • Consulting/business partnering experience
  • Demonstrated experience and aptitude for using various technologies including virtual learning technologies
  • Proven ability to coordinate and manage complex cross-business projects given multiple competing priorities or perspectives
  • Experience leading cross-business initiatives
  • Experience working with virtual teams, in highly matrixed organizations and with individuals across the globe from a variety of cultures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work interdependently, working in partnership across boundaries with strong influencing skills while building trusting and credible relationships at all levels of the organization, including senior leaders
