Reliability Engineer

The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for executing changes needed to continuously drive our Reliability Transformation program from being in a situation of highly reactive maintenance to one of preventative and predictive maintenance. In this role, you will resolve the root cause of re-occurring plant unplanned downtime which results in step changes in plant efficiency and asset reliability.  Through project collaboration this role will also ensure hand over acceptance for the Reliability department is achieved as well as ensuring compliance activities are executed and recorded for all standard.


What are we looking for?


• Experience in electrical maintenance / IT in a high-speed food manufacturing environment is essential
• Experience in contractor supervision and project management
• Electrical license would be preferable 
• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement
• Preferably SAP PM experience or similar and software skills/IT desirable

What would be your key responsibilities?
• Manage Continuous Improvement activities and minor projects to increase the reliability of equipment. 
• Technical resource to support the Reliability team, Operations, Engineering, Safety and Q&FS teams.
• In consultation with the Reliability managers, continually assess and rationalise PM tasks. 
• Provide technical input regarding the Reliability department’s change management requirements.
• Deliver small minor projects on time and in scope.
• Forecast and control budgetary spend (CAB and Reliability expenses)
