Finance Transformation Program Senior Lead

This role provides global cross-segment program leadership for the end-to-end transformation of the Finance ecosystem through an expansive data and systems strategy, including partnering with Global Finance leaders, segment Functional Experts, Business Partnership directors, and business units leaders to deliver business transformation at scale, deploy the processes and IT tools against 2-3 years roadmaps with a focus on driving global push programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for deploying solutions to support the global Finance and Data Systems Strategy (FDSS) and road map including the creation of new process and IT capabilities aligned with internal and external best practices and emerging trends.
  • Own and lead global Program Deployment governance processes with relevant segment leaders and functional Business Partnership directors. 
  • Responsible for the creation and deployment of global IT capabilities which are aligned with the functional & segment strategies, engaging functional business partnership and utilizing development, deployment and core services as appropriate.
  • Establish and deliver global transformation programs that develop and/or deploy new global capabilities.
  • Provide input to the global financial governance regarding the deployment status and roadmap activation throughout the transformation program.
  • Drive down the portfolio complexity and TCO within finance across all global, regional and local applications by retiring existing legacy application and minimizing local/unit specific customizing.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining a high performing project teams, providing functional management to business process, information and functional/technical experts as well as development and deployment resources.
  • Contribute to the deployment of the cross-functional application portfolio strategy.

 

Context and Scope:

  • The role operates across segments and functions partnering with segment Functional Experts and functional Business Partnership Managers to co-create roadmap deployment and priorities for process and IT capabilities.
  • It brings in external/best practice insights & trends from vendors, analysts and peer companies to influence and drive business transformation at scale for finance capabilities.
  • Finance portfolio leadership including strategic alignment, design authority for new capability, data/application/information architecture, business case, program and process definition.
  • It works with the global business partnership community to ensure resources are secured for global programs.
  • It devises, sells in and deploys an IT strategy for the functional areas.
  • It works through influencing and direct control depending on the nature of the capability. 

 

Job Specifications/Qualifications:

   Education & Professional Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business or relevant business function (e.g. Commercial) or equivalent

 

   Knowledge/Experience:

  • 7+ years’ experience in Finance or related IT discipline
  • Solutions Architecture, Applications portfolio management
  • Project & Program Management
  • Budget Management
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management of functional experts
