Location : 30 min from Montpellier (Aimargues) but open to other locations in Europe


The role of Reporting & Business Intelligence Functionnal Expert in Royal Canin is to support our ambition of becoming a company powered by data using the latest Microsoft tools (Azure Data Lake, Power Bi…), we are expanding our Business Intelligence team. We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst with a passion for delivering business value through data. We are in an exciting time of transformational change where you will have the opportunity to showcase your talents to help us further develop our business reporting strategy. 


What are we looking for ?

  • Finance/IT background as a BPO, KU, SME or Functional Expert
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Experience with Microsft BI technologies (SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, Power Bi)

  • Experience working in technical environments bridging the gap between business and IT

  • Strong project management skills (including stakeholders management and change management)

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence
  • Cross-cultural experience in a global role


What would be your responsibilities ?

  • Gather, challenge, and prioritize business requirements
  • Lead and coordinate the design and deployment of reporting and Business Intelligence solution for Royal Canin using SQL Server, Power BI and Azure Data Lake technologies.
  • Build roadmap of deployment of the new reporting and Business Intelligence solutions for Royal Canin units.
  • Ensure alignment and integration with ERP (1NAVISION) Core model and architecture.
  • Be the reporting and Business Intelligence single point of contact (SPOC) for some key projects (e.g: Central Finance project).
  • Develop policies and procedures for the collection and analysis of data.
  • Coordinate the validation, testing and deployment od Business Intelligence solution for Royal Canin units.
  • Create and maintain documentation including requirements, processes and user manuals.
  • Lead and coordinate the implementation of validated changes/enhancements with IT teams to ensure a timely delivery.
