Global Regulatory Affairs Manager (W/M)

 

Location: Aimargues (30 minutes from Montpellier)

Contract: 1 year Temporary Contract

 

Regulatory & Public Affairs maximizes opportunities & minimizes risk by guiding business decisions based on scientific & regulatory insight and provide appropriate governance structures.
The Global Regulatory Affairs Manager belongs to a community of practice of ROYAL CANIN® Regulatory Affairs promoting best practice sharing, establishing and auditing standards, processes, systems, and the consistent application of Mars, Inc. and ROYAL CANIN® policies. The key priority for the role is to lead the strategy of securing the innovation pipeline by ensuring regulatory compliance of ingredients, products, packaging and claims.

 

What are we looking for?

•    M.S. or equivalent  in a technical area, such as food / feed science, veterinary medicine, food safety, chemistry, toxicology, nutrition, or other biological science. 
•    6+ years of experience in Regulatory Affairs
•    Excellent understanding and working knowledge of nutrition and, ideally, pharmaceutical and/or pet food law and regulatory frameworks.
•    Excellent communication skills, fluent in English is mandatory. Fluency in French will be one of the differentiation points. 

What would be your key responsibilities?

•    Monitor regulatory environment. 
•    Maximize opportunity & minimize risk by guiding business decisions based on regulatory insight and provide appropriate governance structure.
•    Ensure compliance with product-related regulation, including but not limited to: Ingredients, labeling, claims, product registration, packaging, import/export challenges. 
•    Secures zero regulatory surprises for Innovation deployment across the globe partnering with RA associates from different markets and regions. 
•    provides guidance to R&D on product development making sure regulatory compliance with different requirements (labelling & claims, ingredients, dosage, usage, nutritional profile).  
•    Deliver on Global Public and Regulatory Affairs team Functional Action Blueprint.
