Digital National Account Analyst

The Role




Here at Mars Petcare, we have a new opportunity to join the Ecommerce Account team as a Digital National Account Analyst. In this role you will work collaboratively across the business and with our key partners to uncover and deliver actionable data-driven insights as well as improving the online shopping experiences for our customers.


This role is pivotal in understanding how to win with our largest Pureplay Online Customers, as well as the management of the execution of our most significant onscreen merchandising plans as recommended by our Global Digital Commerce Team, or generated through local ‘test and learns’. You will engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders, working closely with the National Account Manager, Category, and Digital Marketing Teams to ensure that both our on-site execution/digital merchandising plans are grounded in the best local insights, deployed in full and at pace.


What are we looking for?

  • Degree or tertiary qualification highly regarded;
  • Previous experience in either Customer/Account Support or Analyst roles;
  • Ecomm channel experience preferrable;
  • Knowledge of Website analysis tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) preferred but not essential;
  • Ability to build strong, trusting customer relationships that deliver results.


What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Analysis of Customer and Category reporting, with a focus on insight and action generation;
  • Team functional expert in our Digital Merchandising Analysis Tools (training provided);
  • Defining recommended Digital Merchandise actions using rich insights from tools provided;
  • Analysis of our onsite Top Ranking ‘search’ and ‘aisle’ product ranking performance and provision of recommended focus/investment areas;
  • Team ‘Learn-Test-Learn’ program lead;
  • Execution of Digital Merchandising campaigns, activations, and tools on Customer site.
