And, as the world’s largest rice brand, we made an industry first commitment to source all of our rice from farmers working towards the Sustainable Rice Platform standard by 2020. Uncle Ben’s has a rich history that’s over 70 years old, and we’re looking for someone who can help us build its future and help us achieve our ambition to be the fastest growing dinner company.

We’re looking for a leader who can own and drive the Uncle Ben’s strategy and develop competitive plans to win in a dynamic food landscape. In particular, we expect you to maximize the growth momentum of Ready to Heat rice & grains; accelerate the innovation agenda to transform the brand to offer more meals and occasions; and lead the digital transformation.



  • Lead & embed the brand foundations globally – this includes the brand identity and visual assets, communication and campaign development, packaging design and putting purpose at the heart of what Uncle Ben’s stands for.
  • Drive our proven growth model - drive rigorous deployment and execution of our proven growth model for our #1 growth engine Ready To Heat. You will also refine and strengthen the model through learning and reapplication.
  • Future proof the brand portfolio - leading an innovation strategy that ensures sustainable, profitable growth for the brand across our markets.
  • Transform the brand’s digital growth agenda - with focus on defining new support model through data-enabled Intelligent Reach and Dcomm opportunities.


To do this role you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, with at min. >10 years of relevant experience

  • Extensive senior marketing experience, preferably both local and central
  • Leading an innovation agenda
  • Experience in leading multicultural and multifunctional teams
  • Affinity / experience with a multi-market and multi-cultural environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel @25%
