Key Responsibilities/ 职位描述

Our global commitment to associate Health and Wellbeing is to deliver a holistic and evidence-based plan, aiming to help Associates live physically energized, emotionally resilient, mentally focused and purpose-driven lives.

Mars China health and wellbeing team was setup in mid 2020 with a senior manager to lead the team and a national wellbeing manager. This role will be part of the team focusing on advancing measurable health and energy outcomes, embedding site health fundamentals, reducing population health risks, decreasing absenteeism, costs and occupational illnesses and injuries.

 

  1. Develop and deliver a holistic health and wellbeing strategy to embed site health fundamentals, reducing population health risks, decreasing absenteeism, costs and occupational illness and injuries for Mars China.
  2. Drive to evaluate the health level of each Mars site in China, engage with key stakeholders to develop sites to be healthier and more energized.
  3. Develop the business case based on designed health and wellbeing related data analysis of China Associates to reduce population health risks and manage chronic disease in a long term.
  4. Design and develop health related measurement and analysis to drive data-driven and ROI driven health management, such as improving utilization rate, reducing cost, decreasing absenteeism, etc.
  5. Builds business partnerships with segments and departments, and related functions (e.g. EHS, P&O) to deliver targeted, high impact health management plan.
  6. Manage health related vendors to deliver excellence with clear service level agreements.
  7. Ensures Mars China is in compliance with legislative requirements in regard to the management of health & wellbeing at work, which includes, but is not limited to occupational health, health surveillance and injury management.
  8. Communicates at all levels in the corporation on health & wellbeing strategic direction, operational priorities and metrics.
  9. Monitors China health trends, best practices, regulations and legislation, and makes recommendations accordingly.

 

 

Qualifications/任职条件 

1. Education & Professional Qualification

  • Fluent in both English and Chinese
  • Qualified Health professional (e.g. nurse, allied health, physician). Ideally with an MPH, MHA, or PhD.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the design and delivery of population-based health and wellbeing interventions (workplace or public health experience a plus)
  • Good understanding and experience in managing
  • Occupational health & hygiene (exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, temperature etc.)
  • Non-occupation health (site health issues, medical benefits, shiftwork),

2. Knowledge/Experience

Essential

  • Design and implementation of public health or workplace health programs
  • Experience in the management of occupational health and injury management
  • Project management
  • Business acumen and experience in navigating organizations
  • Vendor management
  • Strong written and oral communication skills / public speaking
  • Ability to travel 10 - 20% of the time

        Desirable

  • Experience in the practical application of health and wellbeing best practices, guidelines, innovations, technology, and metrics.
  • Diverse experience applying consulting, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant national / workplace health legislation.
