This role is responsible for monitoring category trends and performance to identify future growth opportunities and formulate appropriate recommendations. The Category Strategy Assistant Manager will be comfortable in using market, shopper and consumer insights and interpreting data, identifying relevant insights and category opportunities, and in presenting data and insights in a clear, simple and engaging way.


The Category Strategy Assistant Manager will support the Category Strategy Associate Director in terms of  1/localization of the category vision ; 2/ being bridge between global & local regarding key insights and new solution on transaction zone;


Key Responsibilities/职位描述

  1. Monitoring category, customer & channel trends and performance to identify future growth opportunities and formulate appropriate recommendations, ensuring sustainable category growth.
  2. Support Category Strategy Associate Director to localize the category vision, provide understanding of the shopper, channel & customer trends and deliver quantification of category drivers and platforms to inform prioritisation of growth opportunities
    1. Facilitate to embed category insight (CCV 1.0) into CBU plan
    2. CCV 2.0 deployment
    3. Support JCBP sell in story development
  3. Deliver analysis and support development of local recommendations and solutions to drive Confectionery conversion in transaction zone
  4. Support Transaction zone category solution sell-in story development

         5.     Provide training on transaction zone key beliefs / global transaction zone MMH



1. Bachelor’s degree is a must

2. Proficient in MS Office is a must, if Cat-Man softwares (i.e. Pro-space/Spaceman, Answers) will be advantages

3. Above 3 years in FMCG industry, solid experience on Category Management or Key Account Management or Retailer experience is preferred

4. Strong analyzing capability and logical thinking sense

5. Self-motivated with strong leadership and ownership

6. Good at dealing with ambiguity

7. Good communication and coordination skills;

8. Good teamwork spirit and willing to support others

9. Bilinguals in Mandarin and English with Good Presentation Skill.
