Due to continued expansion and growth we have an amazing opportunity to join the Mars Wrigley Field Sales Team within the central London territory on a 12 month fixed-term basis potentially leading to a permanent role depending on performance. The central London territory is looked after by an elite team and consists of a very high performing client porfolio so we are looking for driven, ambitious and career-motivated individuals to take the reigns and push for optimum spend. FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE JOB OVERVIEW

As a Field Sales Representative, you will have the responsibility to develop and manage a Grocery and Discounter Territory working with our confectionery and health and wellbeing portfolio and build outstanding visibility and availability through strong relationships. You will build sales in all stores and have strong daily interaction with retail outlet managers. You will deliver a “total store” approach in order to deliver the best outcomes in all in retail locations. A key focus will be on distribution & display and you will become a trusted category advisor

 

FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE KEY DUTIES:  

  • As the Field Sales Representative you will develop effective relationships with all key contacts within stores in order to increase Mars Wrigley’s sales
  • Implement Customer Account Activity plan in order to deliver excellent distribution and display of all agreed promotions
  • Develop a strong Category understanding and use this knowledge to influence the key decision makers to support your vision for in-store success
  • Meet your targets on Coverage and completion so that we are able to meet our customers at the right time
  • Place equipment and improve existing equipment to ensure in store stand out of the Mars Wrigley portfolio
  • Follow the Mars Wrigley structured selling process which will help you become best in class within Field Sales

 

FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES                                                    

  • Educated to Degree level preferable but not essential
  • Experience within Sales or Customer service is essential
  • Drive for Results: Right Candidate must have can do attitude & desire to grow sales.

  • Customer Focus: At Mars its important that the customer is at the heart of everything that we do so collaboration with the customer to win together is essential.

  • Integrity & Trust: You will be responsible for delivering stand alone results and will be responsible for doing it in the Mars way.  As a field sales associate you will be the face of the business and its important that you operate professionally.

  • Priority Setting: With managing multiple customers, targets & priorities it will be an important skill to ensure that you manage what is expected of you.

  • Planning: You will be responsible to create a plan to manage your customers in a set territory.

  • Ability to analyse performance and think outside the box- pushing for increased account performance and fixing accounts that have been impacted by the pandemic
