Type of contract: permanent contract

The purpose of this job is both strategic and operational as the Pet Speciality Retailing Marketing Director (PSR) is responsible for defining the category and promotional plans (both off and on-line) and helping Sales Teams implement them with appropriate tools. Thus this role is key to supporting our omnichannel journey in a fast moving environment.
The PSR Marketing Director is a member of the PSR Leadership Team and of the French Leadership Group (FLG).


What will be your key responsibilities?
. Ensures the design, implementation and communication of the marketing action plan:
-    Manages new product launches, 
-    Pilots the development and deployment of a categorical approach
-    Supervises consumer studies and analyzes in order to measure the effectiveness of the actions carried out and guide future actions
. Guarantees the design and implementation of the promotional action plan for France:
-    Supervises the implementation of the annual planning of National promotions within the European framework of the Promotion Golden Rules
-    Supervises the analysis of the results of promotions (eg. Return of Investment), the evaluation of the effectiveness of each operation and the corrective actions to be implemented
-    Ensures the best use and the respect of the team’s budgets (eg. A&CP) 
. Defines, in collaboration with the key accounts Teams and sales teams, the category priorities by retailer:
-    Determines the product and/or merchandising action plans for the major retailers
-    Coordinates promotional actions dedicated to power plants - Supervises the implementation of actions intended to support the development of omni-channel among our clients
. Ensures a management adapted to the needs and expectations of its team members in order to engage and develop them:
-    Participates in the recruitment of his team in collaboration with the Talent acquisition team
-    Organizes the activity of his team (dissemination of information, definition of priority objectives, allocation of means, analysis of results, etc.)
-    Defines clear objectives for his team and supervises the achievement of its objectives throughout the year (measurement of deviations, definition of corrective actions)
-    Develops the commitment, motivation and cohesion of the team by creating a motivating and fulfilling work climate


What are we looking for?

Higher Education diploma in a business-related discipline (eg. High Business School)
Fluent in French and English
Solid experience in marketing
Ideally good knowledge in sales and specialized channel 
Team engagement and development
