Customer Business Manager OOH / New Business (m/f/d)



Within the Sales team, the jobholder is responsible for the acquisition and establishment of business relations with new customers in the Out Of Home channel. As a Customer Business Manager, the jobholder is responsible for achieving the sales, sales budget and profitability goals and implementing the defined OOH-strategy. The jobholder leads or is actively involved in cross-team projects together with the Strategic Demand Team, Finance and Logistics and represents the company externally and internally as a professional business partner.

Key outputs

Customer management

  • Acquisition of new customers in the OOH channel
  • Establishment of long-term business relations with newly acquired customers
  • Competent contact for trading partners
  • Independent preparation of business plans on an annual basis
  • Independent preparation and management of all customer meetings, including annual meetings
  • Elaboration of all sales activities for customers
  • Coordination of sales activities with the Sales Force and the customer
  • Active range management in cooperation with Marketing and Category Management
  • Focus on Category development at the customer
  • Support on Field Services

Cross-functional internal collaboration

  • Intensive cooperation with all internal departments such as Portfolio, Service & Finance, Supply Chain, Category Management (including layout projects)
  • Promotion of ATG and S&OP processes
  • Collaboration / management of internal projects such as the development of the strategic annual category plans

Participation in internal and external meetings

  • S&OP + ONE demand
  • Sales team and planning meetings
  • Coordination meetings with the sales force
  • Various project meetings


Analysis and planning activity

  • Sales forecast with review and monitoring
  • Budget forecast and control
  • Analysis of the trading environment
  • Responsibility for customer profitability


  • Bachelor/Master´s degree, preferably in business with a major in Demand or Sales management or similar
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in Sales in the retail / consumer goods sector
  • Pronounced entrepreneurial thinking and acting as well as analytical skills
  • A high degree of independence and a focus on results
  • Strong communication, networking and negotiation skills
  • Excellent assertiveness and perseverance
  • Fluent in German and English
