The primary duties and responsibilities of this position include:


  • Monitor inventory daily to ensure accurate ordering of raw and packaging materials from contract warehouse to support production
  • Place orders for raws and packs to support production demand.
  • Coordinate movement of JIT (Just In Time) inventory from contract warehouse to KKC using Red Prairie and SAP.
  • Complete Purchase Order receipts in SAP and Red Prairie
  • Responsible for the inventory reconciliation of an assigned segment.
  • Manage suspense activity in Red Prairie & SAP and facilitate corrective action.
  • Complete material transfers from warehouses as needed.
  • Manage return trailers.
  • Provide logistics support to operations throughout the shift, including coordinating raw/pack trailer moves
  • Communicate deployment or delivery issues with National Office.
  • Ability to quickly learn key business systems; SAP & Red Prairie
  • Understanding of MRP.
  • Serve as backfill for IAC (Inventory Administrative Coordinator).
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot and cold, dust, dirt and chemicals.
  • Able to complete all tasks in the area assigned by manager abiding by the Mars Safety Practices and Quality Practices.

                    organizational skills.

  •  Basic understanding of ordering and scheduling production supplies.
  • Ability to communicate, both verbal and written with all levels of the organization in a clear and concise manner.
  • Self-starter.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity constructively.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles.
  • Highly organized, good work and time management habits, and the ability

                    to perform in a fast paced environment.

  •  Participate in Quality and Financial Audits as required.




The primary qualifications of this position are:


  1. Most recent Performance appraisal of “Meets Expectations”.
  2. No active caution notices.
  3. Acceptable attendance
  4. Physical requirements: Ability to perform needed physical activities without restrictions. (Maximum of 50 pounds lifting.)
  5. Strong computer skills with focus on MS Excel
