The Customer Business Leader, eCommerce, is responsible for delivering the Mars Food growth ambition.  This person will accelerate the perfect digital shelf footprint for the Uncle Ben’s™ & Seeds of Change™ brands while driving NSV & share growth of assigned accounts, including both Pure play (i.e. Amazon) & Omni-channel (i.e. Walmart.com) customers.

As a member of the Mars Food US Sales Leadership team & reporting to the VP Sales, this person will own the Digital Commerce roadmap by building successful relationships internally with appropriate teams to ensure full omni-channel execution. This role works cross functionally, leading day-to-day process & infrastructure creation with a 50/50 split between domestic vs. global work stream initiatives, whilst liaising with the NA Food GM.

Account leadership of Amazon, A/O Pure play, and priority Omni-channel customers through implementation of activity plans, including but not limited to, managing NSV targets, commercialization of new online pack types, execution of perfect digital shelf fundamentals, and cultivation of meal kit programming.
Co-create 5-year strategic vision in partnership w/ digital marketing and gain alignment from local & global management team on capabilities roadmap, innovation charters, and related investment decisions. 
Implement, measure and monitor performance of each Pure play account (NSV, GMAC, ledger targets, invoice issues and payments, budget, case fill) taking decisive action to deliver sales revenue in line with plan.
Secure new business development opportunities, lead new account creation process, negotiate trade agreement, & represent Food US in cross-segment collaboration for JBP’s at Albertsons, Peapod, Amazon, etc. 
Collaborate with Shopper Marketing, Field Sales, Customer Marketing, & Brand Teams to support a true Omni-channel approach in the Brick & Click channel including content publishing needs.


Key Responsibilities:
• Direct accountability of NSV growth plan for Amazon + full Pureplay business.
• Responsible for leading S&OP, period reporting, & forecasting processes for eCommerce.
• Lead meal kit roadmap & execution in relevant grocery delivery retailers, including Peapod.
• COE support for brick & click teams providing proper tools, resources, and training for developing dot.com business including Walmart, Kroger, & Target.
• Co-create ecommerce pack type innovation charters & lead best-in-class commercialization.
• Own new business development & drop ship fulfillment priorities.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
8+ years combined experience in digital commerce, account management, and/or consumer marketing
Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.  Some global travel required.
Successful completion of a drug and background screen
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
