Territory: London, Essex, Northamptonshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, South Midlands, Norfolk

Salary: £30,074.40 - £37,788.00 basic + exceptional benefits + Lease Car Provided

 

Field Based

 

The Job:

Responsible for delivering the territory sales in line with the Pro pillar strategy, by serving more pets you will deliver growth we are proud of.

The role is critical in ensuring we remain a front of mind brand and are able to drive recommendation to the Pet Owner through our key partners.

 

What you will do:

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Achieving sales target through the development of tailored plans with customers to increase recommendation, distribution and sales
  • Achieving effective recommendation to Pet Owners through our partners (Breeders and Rescue Centres)
  • Maintaining a deep level of product knowledge to have relevant and impactful conversations with our partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and prospects, and acquiring new customers.
  • Working closely with the Customer Service teams to deliver best in class service to our customers.
  • Effective and efficient territory management and adherence to coverage model to build relevant customer contact and relationship.
  • Following structured sales call process
  • Sharing best practice
  • Responsibility for weekly reporting and collaboration with Finance teams.
  • Support new products launches in partnership with marketing activity.
  • Attendance at internal and external company events.
  • Attendance at cat and dog shows and events in line with the Show and Events strategy; working as part of a team and taking the lead as and when required.

 

What you will need:

  • Knowledge of the Professional Community to include breeders preferable but not essential.
  • An understanding and awareness of ROYAL CANIN® products.
  • An understanding of the essentials of cat and dog nutrition and ability to share knowledge in an impactful way.
  • Proven track record in territory sales or within a sales function
  • Literacy and Numeracy Skills at an intermediate level
