IT Business Partner / Business Relationship Manager

Up to £53k, plus bonus & benefits

Mars Global Services are currently looking for an IT Business Partner to join our business to support our Royal Canin segment.


Supporting the Regional Service Manager, you will be the face of MGS for the Royal Canin site in the UK, engaging with key segment stakeholders, managing the customer satisfaction survey process, executing communication and marketing activities and looking after IT financial processes.


You role will be critical for identifying, delivering and supporting innovative IT solutions required by the local business, based on requirements for both the local applications directly under your  ownership, or requests that go beyond the local applications footprint and into the wider Mars Global Services business.


You will work closely with the site management teams to understand the needs of the business and will be responsible for helping bring their IT strategy to life by being the connection between the business and MGS.

It’s all about:


  • Being responsible for the communication and marketing of Mars Global Services initiatives and services to the business leaders.
  • Working closely with the relevant business stakeholders to identify requirements for new/existing solutions
  • Ensuring visibility and program management of all market/sites IT initiatives
  • Financial accountability of the overall IT costs for all covered market/sites, ensuring visibility
  • Owning the local solutions footprint and drives to minimise this footprint as much as possible to increase the number of global/regional solutions in the overall Mars Global Services portfolio
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement in current business process, defines new ways of working, and determines actions required to implement new processes. 
  • In some instances, you may be responsible for the analysis and project management required to deliver the solution.


    To do the job you’ll need:


  • Previous experience in an IT related field (project management, consultancy etc.)
  • Must be customer focused with demonstrated ability to form productive relationship including business leaders, IT personnel and project leaders
  • Sound understanding of a company’s business and technology strategies and established business process areas and the ways in which technology may impact and enhance business processes
  • Strong technical skills to be able to evaluate technology and process alternatives
  • Good written skills as well as high interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem analysis and influencing / networking skills.
  • A proven track record of delivering results in one of the following areas:
    Project delivery, Senior Management exposure, IT Consultancy
