The Role

It’s exciting times at Mars Wrigley and as a result of a restructure to the team, we now have two great opportunities for experienced Field Sales Reps to join our sales team and manage the Canberra, ACT territory. One role will cover Great Canberra South and the South Coast & the other, Greater Canberra North and Wagga Region.

 

With a requirement to be based in Canberra, this role will see you act as a brand ambassador, ensuring professional representation and outstanding availability of our products within Grocery & Independent Retailers.  You will drive sales to enhance availability, display impact and deliver executional excellence in line with our perfect store goals, while building collaborative, winning relationships with key stakeholders to deliver business and category growth.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree Qualification in relevant discipline preferred but not essential;
  • Previous experience in either a customer facing, or sales related role;
  • Leadership experience, as valued team member and or as value team leader;
  • Demonstrated selling and negotiation skills, and an ability to build strong and influential relationships;
  • Ability to effectively prioritise work & adapt to competing demands from a variety of stakeholders.

 

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Ensure delivery of the Net Sales Volume growth and coverage targets and key KPI’s;
  • Negotiate and implement incremental permanent and temporary locations using stock control expertise and supply chain procedures to deliver perfect store picture of success;
  • Collate and analyse key KPI data, ensuring all reporting requirement deadlines are met;
  • Continuously drive to improve and optimise availability and conversion through understanding and responding to the needs of customers;
  • Develop strong and influential relationships with key customers to deliver shopper, channel and category centric solutions which accelerate customer engagement and drive growth.
