Job description:

Drive engagement with Veterinarian through continuous education and right offering to enhance the practice and to be positioned as most preferred brand to work with.

Achievement of budget – sales and profitability (volume and turnover); and Achievement of distribution targets (qualitative)

Overall achievement of volume and turnover budget for RC through the development of a channel marketing strategy.

The focus of the Position is on the Royal Canin product range.

Educating our veterinarian and internal teams on basic scientific knowledge – Nutrition/dog & Cat education/Reproduction with the help of Scientific communication team

Channel Management

  • Develop channel strategy
  • Develop channel action plan (promotions, communication, merchandising, exhibitions and shows, roadshows, loyalty incentive programme and training).
  • Manage and implement channel action plan.
  • Manage budget.
  • Liaise and build relationships with advertising agency, suppliers, distributors, veterinary clients, Vet university , vet association , internal clients and other business partners.
  • Build collaborative partnerships with industry partners.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor actions.
  • Engage with consumers, develop innovative ways to interact with them directly and build immediate & meaningful dialogue with them.

 

Launches & Campaigns

  • Develop and manage launches & campaigns to achieve quantitative and qualitative budget targets for Royal Canin.
  • Develop and source marketing / sales tools (e.g. point of sales, educational books,poster  etc.) and promotional items (clothing, models , etc).
  • Organise and coordinate product launches, roadshows, shows and exhibitions.
  • To assist with the forecasting of new product launches and campaigns
  • To maintain the promotion and product launch forecast

 

Communication

  • Develop, negotiate, manage and implement in-house promotional plan.
  • Assist in developing training and educational programmes for Vets , end-users, internal staff & vet studets.
  • Maintain good internal and external communication.
  • Related correspondence (queries, complaints, etc.).
  • Create brand awareness and build brand image.
  • Merchandising:
    Communicate effectively and coordinating with local suppliers, to develop local marketing tools.
  • Plan and maintain a record for all merchandising done in outlets across pillars.
  • Inform, engage, and follow sales team achievements during marketing and merchandising campaigns.
  • Assist in maintaining a record of all the marketing material in physical and electronic form.
  • Track the merchandising stock level at warehouse and manage efficient distribution of the tools into the market.
  • Ordering all marketing tools and coordinating with logistics when receiving or sending tools.
  • Making sure all tools are in the warehouse in time for distribution.
  • Updating and sending a list to the sales teams to order tools regularly.

Others:

  • Deliver the vet pillar Numerical distribution, volume and NSV targets for the year.
  • Analyse cube/Navision data periodically, both pillar wise and area wise and plan for innovation marketing interventions accordingly.
  • Ensure the categorisation project for the pillar is designed & updated regularly and marketing plans are designed accordingly for each level.
  • Liaison with the creative agency for all internal and external creative
