South West

£30k to £35k basic plus commission, bonus & benefits


There is one position available due to a promotion within the team covering the whole of the South West of the Country covering from Wiltshire and the Bristol Area to parts of London and Bournemouth right down to the end of the South West.



The Field Customer Account Manager (FCAM) will be part of a team acting as ambassadors for the Mars Drinks service brand providing effective customer account management to retain and grow existing business.  This is one area that is key to achieving long term sustainable growth for Mars Drinks.  You will be operating within an often rapidly changing framework whilst offering the highest levels of customer service.  Your role is to drive customer satisfaction, engagement, loyalty and growth through building strong relationships with key customers requiring a face-to-face visit.



  • Responsibility for ensuring and enabling the retention of existing business base.
  • Delivery and pro-active management of accounts enabled by the CRM contact strategy for your customer base.
  • Driving Customer Engagement through successful relationship building with Decision Makers & Key Influencers on site, and effective networking to further build relationships and influence.
  • To identify early and manage as a priority vulnerable and ‘At-Risk’ customers and accounts to retain or minimise loss, particularly those at risk to competitors.
  • Maintain and increasing NSV Growth by analysing the customer account: understanding buying patterns, menu management, machine repeats, CSV performance, financial performance, etc.   Implement required changes to improve throughput and retention.
  • Identifying other customer needs, e.g. additional machines and promoting areas of Mars Drinks expertise, e.g. drinks knowledge and sustainability.
  • Respond to and deliver the marketing/CRM campaign activities as per the Marketing Activity Plan.
  • Active problem solving to enable retention and growth through successful relationship building with the customer and internally to work collaboratively where needed to achieve delivery of commercial results.
  • Providing support to the internal Office CAM sales team by conducting effective business need customer visits when required.
  • Proactively find and gain New Business self-sourced referrals to pass to Field Sales.
  • Utilise knowledge & experience of CSTs to understand full customer lifecycle and to maximise networking opportunities on the site.
  • Ownership of actions through to resolution – ensuring a response is provided to customers and minimising the end-to-end time.  Also to recognise issues they cannot resolve and to resolve these with their manager or BDMs.
  • Ensure all customer information is kept up to date and notes of all conversations are recorded on Salesforce.



Education and Professional Qualifications

A-Level Preferred; Degree Desired

2. Knowledge/Experience

  • Experience within a B2B account management role.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Strong planning & organisational skills.
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Problem solving ability.
  • Full & Clean Driving Licence.
