Location: Montpellier 

Salary: between 43 to 53 K€ (package according your experience)

 

 

As a Demand Planner for the European region in Royal Canin, you would be responsible to deliver an accurate demand plan in sell-in based on market and regional insights.

You will also be responsible to secure product availability from 4 European Plants through excellent mid-term planning.

 

What are we looking for?

Ideally, you have experience in regional Demand Planning or Sales & Operation Planning.

You are Excel advance user, at ease with information system.

Fluent English (spoken & written)

We are looking for someone with problem solving and good communication skills.

 

What would be your key responsibilities?

Demand Planning

Develop an accurate demand plan for a set of international markets

Assess upcoming risk and opportunities with marketing, finance, supply to secure the supply chain

Secure the execution of new product deployment and promotion plan with relevant stakeholders: Activity manager, Marketing, Logistics and supply team

 

Support the Supply Chain

Provide support to local market experiencing supply challenges:  drive consensus meeting to secure sales and production.

Provide support to factories team experiencing issues with markets: ensure supply constraints and “planning golden rules” are enforced so to reduce demand volatility

 

Support Forecast System & Data

Support the good functioning of the Demand Planning process via FuturMaster (RC forecasting software)

Update and support system data quality 

Lead projects to enhance process efficiencies through improved functionality

 

S&OP Process (Monthly)

Facilitate and lead meetings for assigned markets to identify: required changes in the demand plan, capture significant business events, changes in product / marketing plans.

Build up deck to share on Risk and Opportunity and mitigation plan.

Support market initiatives in improving the quality of their demand plan by assessing the effectiveness of their process, offering guidance and sharing best practices.
