Job purpose

The purpose of this role is to prepare the agreed national activation plans for Mars Wrigley to maximize ROI and deliver Portfolio strategy. This role includes both a mix of analysis (both on internal & external data) and the preparation of the agreed national level activities for execution.

Key outputs

  • Support Activation manager to prepare national activation plans for upcoming years Y+1, Y+3
  • Business of Tomorrow: support Activation Manager and Portfolio Teams with detailed analysis on brand level (promotion, execution instore, budget recommendation, copacking execution, field support, etc.)
  • Design content creation of national activities in line with portfolio recommendations & sales requests
  • Approve key visuals of EBAs and activations by working with portfolio, region and agencies
  • Responsible for on shelf & off execution (trade tools budget allocation; Toolkit Deployment e.g: Micro site creation, Mechanics Optimisations, Localise visuals, Premia process, Regulatory check) link to national activities
  • Build sales folders to spread national event argumentary across the cluster
  • Prepare financial input for Business Case: e.g. Launch of a new campaign or a new Copack, responsible for NAR Approval (and be present where needed)
  • Responsible for EBA ROI Analysis (pre & post financial analysis), proving recommendations to drive ROI & provide quality inputs for the promo guidelines led by SRM
  • Copacking/ Material Responsibility:
    - Responsible for Copack development, Composition, Briefing/Article set up for national level
    - Manage the menu display catalogue defined together with the activation manager & activation executive (including national & customer specifics)
    - Responsible for Copacking tracking & simplification
    - Responsible for high quality production of the POS materials at cluster level
  • Support budget tracking of CP and respective DE budget given guidance for the initiative
  • Budget compliance and tracking of CP and respective DE budget to ensure efficient investment
  • Management of purchase orders (PO) at cluster level



  • Bachelor/Master´s degree in Economics or similar education
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in Sales or Marketing / Customer Marketing, preferably in the FMCG area
  • Excellent analytical skills and keen on working with numbers
  • Pronounced entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • A high degree of Action orientation and a focus on results
  • An open-minded personality who is eager to learn and develop
  • Fluent in German and English, further language skills in French and Dutch are a plus
