We are looking for experienced candidates interested for the Technical Director position.

Technical Director supports Plant Director in ensuring human safety and developing Site Strategy/Masterplan and identifying opportunities and threats on the way to strategic targets. Technical Director provides KPI’s to make performance results visible at site and regional level. Based on chosen KPI’s is helping to set priorities for Technical team. Through internal and external collaboration and benchmarking is challenging status quo and identifies continues improvement initiatives. Together with his team is a key driver of change required to reach stretching strategic targets.  


Scope of responsibility:

  • Support the Plant Director in human safety initiatives. Developing the site strategy/Site Masterplan in close cooperation with the Regional / Global and site
  • Building awareness of hygiene, quality and safety in reporting team.
  • Preparation and management of all types of investment projects
  • Ensure that all site related national, provincial, and local environmental & legal compliance requirements are met or exceeded. As the senior Mars, Incorporated representative at the site ensures that the corporation's environmental strategies and commitments are maintained and protected
  • Investigating suitability for the MARS of new techniques, technologies, machinery and equipment and systems in collaboration with other teams
  • Represent Supply in activity management by recommending and implementing supply solutions
  • Identify improvement opportunities. Prepare feasibility study, recommend solutions and lead chosen projects
  • Develop and monitor Capital investment plan in co-operation with Site team.
  • Develop monitoring tools and support the process of results tracking, reporting and its visualization (breakdown, MTTR, MTTBF, CAB spend profile).
  • Drive Site performance through maintenance
  • Apply “Site as New” principle by properly managing maintenance and engineering activities
  • Support site related processes like CAB, OP, DiB, NQC
  • Ensure process standardization and its continuous improvement
  • Manage site lean initiatives
  • Identify key competences gaps in Supply and support the process of closing those gaps (MU, Supply Capability Trainings, cross site learning)
  • Build strong cross site network within Technical community
  • Representation of RNI in regional and cross departmental projects
  • Build and manage the team, build associates engagement and development
  • Support MSE implementation



  • University (Masters) Degree
  • Minimum 4 -5 years of experience in Supply/Engineering Department with proven achievement in functional and team management area.
  • Ambitions and potential for further growth/ development within the organization
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Fluent in English is a must.
