Team Leader / Production Supervisor

Salary – £26,000 - £38,000 (Including Shift Allowance) + Annual Variable Bonus

We are looking for a Team Leader / Production Supervisor to drive standards at our Kings Lynn site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance to Safety, Quality and Operational KPIs, coaching and supporting the team where necessary, and role modelling through their application of technical and people skills.

 

In this role you will:  

  • Lead and drive an area of the factory with between 4 and 11 associates, reporting into the Shift Manager
  • Coach 100% compliance to all safety standards within the designated area and maintain a proactive approach to Safety within the workplace
  • Drive a culture of delivering operational excellence within designated area of responsibility
  • Demonstrate capability to operate equipment within their area and to act as first contact for technical failures
  • Support the Shift Manager in identifying training opportunities and gaps, working with the Team Leader to ensure adequate capability and attitude to deliver area objectives
  • Support the Shift Manager team in recruiting into the team
  • Identify, support and actively lead CI projects with the team in your area

 

To do this role you will need:

  • Preferably a proven experience in manufacturing environment, previous experience leading, coaching and supporting teams would be a benefit
  • Formally trained in mechanical systems, operation and fault-finding would be desirable although training will be available
  • Able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills
  • IOSH Managing safely will be a benefit
