Job Purpose/Overview

 

 

The Distributor Manager will have the largest Key Account role in East Med Cluster, representing more than 15% of the business. The incumbent manages 4 distributors and one direct report.

The main purpose of this role is: Driving sustainable growth for Mars, increasing market share across 4 categories, through customer collaboration, development and implementation of distributor's strategy. 

The Distributors Manager is responsible for delivering yearly KPIS, leading and managing the interface with 4 distributors through cross functional collaboration and stakeholders' engagement.

The Distributors Manager position is a vital one within the sales department and it is considered to be multidimensional because of the numerous duties it entails. The Distributors Manager carries out an intermediary role between Mars and the distributors. This role has many more strings attached to it than improved communication. The Distributors Manager can influence customer perceptions of the company’s reliability and the value of the services being offered immensely. The Distributors Manager is the pillar of customer centricity and also the ambassador of the customer within Mars and consequently he/she has to organize, encourage and stimulate all internal associates to further strengthen the bonds between Mars and customers.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Distributors Channel  & Category Leadership
Responsible to manage all distributors in Israel and Palestinian Authority applying the Mars Inc collaboration standards.
Lead Distributors channel strategy in line with Mars East Med Cluster strategy.
Develop Collaborative relationships with customers to execute the strategy.
Develop and implement customer plans (shared business plan / customer account plan) to drive category growth and increase Mars market share.
Drive excellence in execution instore based on Mars Standards and Best practices.

Account Management
Responsible for robust forecasting and sales estimates through timely feed to the S&OP process with accurate information.
Responsible for account P&L, understanding key drivers (incl. Review) and handling Trade budget.
Work cross functionally with supply chain and finance to ensure the order process runs smoothly.
Negotiate & Implement promotional plans and launch of new products.

Line Management
Delivery and nurture of Great Line Management and Great Place To Work practices to the direct reports.

Job Specifications/Qualifications

University Master Degree

Excellent English – High professional
