Customer Development Representative Mars Wrigley (Modern Trade)

£27k + Company Car + Bonus + Benefits


Position Summary:

As a Customer Development Representative, you will have the responsibility to develop and manage a Grocery and Discounter Territory working with our confectionery and health and wellbeing portfolio and build outstanding visibility and availability through strong relationships. You will build sales in all stores and have strong daily interaction with retail outlet managers. You will deliver a “total store” approach in order to deliver the best outcomes in all in retail locations. A key focus will be on distribution & display and you will become a trusted category advisor.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective relationships with all key contacts within Stores in order to increase Mars Wrigley’s sales
  • Implement  Customer Account Activity plan in order to deliver excellent distribution and display of all agreed promotions
  • Develop a strong Category understanding and use this knowledge to influence the key decision makers to support your vision for in store success
  • Meet your targets on Coverage and completion so that we are able to meet our customers at the right time
  • Place equipment and improve existing equipment to ensure in store stand out of the Mars Wrigley portfolio
  • Follow the Mars Wrigley structured selling process which will help you become best in class within Field Sales


Essential Skills:

  • Strong selling, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Excellent Communication and Relationship building skills
  • Ability to effectively plan and prioritise
  • Results and targets driven
  • Ability to work off your own imitative but be part of a Team
  • Full Clean Driving Licence
  • Sales experience
  • Live within 45 minutes of location
